The Financial Markets Association wishes to inform all members of the following
important update from the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) regarding
Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) licensing.
VASP Fee Structure Gazetted
The VFSC has advised that fees relating to VASP applications and licenses have been
officially gazetted on 16 January 2026. A formal public notice from the VFSC will be
issued shortly.
The fees are as follows:
– Application Fee: USD 50,000
– License Fee: USD 100,000
– Annual Renewal Fee: USD 100,000
VFSC Industry Meeting – VASP Licensing
The VFSC has invited all Agents and FDL licensees interested in applying for a VASP
license to attend an information session.
Meeting Details:
– Date: Friday, 23 January 2026
– Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
– Venue: VFSC Conference Room, Port Vila
Purpose:
– Update on VASP licensing requirements and processes
– Outline standards expected of VASP licensees
– Q&A session
